Quran: And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together & do not become divided.(3/103) O you who have believed, fear Allah. & let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow - & fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do.(59/18) He decreed for you the same religion decreed for Noah, & what we inspired to you, & what we decreed for Abraham, Moses, & Jesus: "You shall uphold this one religion, & do not divide it."(42:13). The idol worshipers will greatly resent what you invite them to do. The Hadhrat Muhammad (SAWS) is the Lord and Master of Jannah

The Hadhrat Muhammad (SAWS) is the Master of Jannah

In Sahih Muslim that once the Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Aylaihiwa Sallam) asked Hadhrat Rab‘eea Bin Ka’ab Aslami (May Allah be well pleased with him) to ask of Him.  He said:  I desire your company in Jannah.  On this the Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Aylaihiwa Sallam) said:  Do you want anything else apart from this?  Hadhrat Rab‘eea (May Allah be well pleased with him) said:  That is enough for me.  The Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Aylaihiwa Sallam) said:  You help me with ample prostrations.

Hadhrat Mulla ‘Ali Qari (Radhiyallahu Anhu) writes in the interpretation of this Hadith:

Translation: The Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Aylaihiwa Sallam) kept the question open-ended, which shows that Allah has granted such authority to the Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Aylaihiwa Sallam) that He can grant whatever He wants to anybody from the treasures of the Lord.  Ibn Saba’a (Radhiyallahu Anhu) and others have mentioned in the distinctions of the Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Aylaihiwa Sallam) that Allah had made the land of Jannah the property of the Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Aylaihiwa Sallam).  How much ever He (Sallallahu Aylaihiwa Sallam) wants, He can grant to others.

Sell this to me in lieu of a spring of Jannah

As Allah has made the Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Aylaihiwa Sallam) the lord of Jannah, by the grant of Allah, He (Sallallahu Aylaihiwa Sallam) can grant others Jannah as well. As given in this Hadith of Mo’jam Kabeer of Imam Tabarani:

Translation: Abu Salma Basheer Aslami narrates on the authority of his father that when the Companions emigrated from Makkah to Madina, they didn’t like the water there.  A certain person from the clan of Ghifar had a spring of fresh water, which was called Rooma.  He would sell one water skin of that for 1 “Mudd”.  The Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Aylaihiwa Sallam) told him:  Sell this spring to me in lieu of a spring of Jannah.  He said:  O Prophet of Allah (Sallallahu Aylaihiwa Sallam)!  I and my family subsist on this only.  It is not possible for me.  Hadhrat ‘Uthman (May Allah be well pleased with him) learnt of this and bought this off the owner for 35,000 Dirhams. Then he went to the Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Aylaihiwa Sallam) and said:  O Prophet of Allah (Sallallahu Aylaihiwa Sallam)!  The way you had assigned a spring of Jannah for that person, if I buy it will you grant me the spring of Jannah?  He (Sallallahu Aylaihiwa Sallam) said:  Yes.  He said:  I have bought the spring of Rooma and turn it into an endowment for all Muslims.

This Hadith clearly shows that the Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Aylaihiwa Sallam) is the lord of Jannah, He can give it to whomever He wants to.  It is a belief of the Companions that the Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Aylaihiwa Sallam) can sell Jannah as well.

Hadhrat ‘Uthman (May Allah be well pleased with him) bought Jannah from the Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Aylaihiwa Sallam)

Imam Hakim Neshpuri (Radhiyallahu Anhu) has narrated a Hadith in Mustadrak on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be well pleased with him):

Translation:  It has been narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be well pleased with him), he said: Hadhrat ‘Uthman (May Allah be well pleased with him) has purchased Jannah twice from the Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Aylaihiwa Sallam), one when he dug the spring of “Ma‘oona” and the second time, when he provided equipment to the army going to Tabook.

After this, Imam Hakim writes:  The chain of narration of this Hadith is Sahih (rigorously authenticated)

Sell this to me in lieu of a tree of Jannah
