Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam ‘ala Rasulillah
As-salaamu `alaykum wrb,
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Syyedina Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallama and upon all his Family and Companions.
The Hajj Pilgrimage 2015 To Mecca – Haj | hadj | haij
The four ragulations of Islam, belief, namaz, zakat and fasting have already been discussed. Among which namaz and fasting relates to physical worship and the zakat is monetory one. Now we discuss Hajj which is a combined worship of body and money and it is fifth regulation of Islam.
Etymologically Haj means to undertake a journey to the Holy city of Macca. In shriath terminology, during a fixed period, specific vay of circumbulation of Holy Kaba and to stay at Arafaat is known as Hajj cermony. The Holy Kaba is an auspicious place located at Macca which is also called the Abode of Almighty Allah and the salath (namaz) will be only lawful when one faces it. Hadj pilgrimage is also an important and prominent worship the attributes thereof are referred at varius places in shariat. The Holy Quran says,
Translation: – Pilgrimage they do is a duty men owe to Allah those who can afford to journey. (Verse 97 Sura Aale Imran)
In a Hadith e paak Huzoor (S.A.W.S) has said, “whoever performed the Haj and abstained from sinful deeds during Hajj he will return absolved from all sins like a child just born.” On not performing the Haj he gave a severe warning and said, “Any dire necessity, a tyrrant ruler or a disease rendering him handicap has not stopped from Hadj and he has not performed the Haj pilgrimage he is at liberty to end his life as a jew or a christian.”
Hajj is also compulsory on Muslims like salaath (namaaz), zakaat and fasting but a Muslim has to undertake a journey to the Holy city of Mecca at least once in his own life time that is sane, major, and healthy and inpossession of sufficient many more than his actual requirement, free from debts and gives generously to the dependants to meet their legitimate needs till he returns. Apart from Haj there is another worship called Umrah performed at the same place which is a stressed Sunnat. In a Hadith e paak it is mentioned that the Umrah is like expiation for sins committed till another Umrah.
After or before the performance of Hadj and Umrah there is another thing which is a bounty for believers and lovers of Allah, wealth of felecity or fortune in this world and in the hereafter world is the visit to Holy shrine of the Holy Prophet, mercy for the universe and intercessor for the sinners Hazrat Mohammed Mustafa (S.A.W.S) that is preferiancial desirability and near to obligation. In this respect there is Hadith e paak in which it is said whoever has visited my grave my intersition will be obligatory. Whoever has performed Hajj and visited my grave after my death he is like who has visited me in my life. And for those who do not visit my grave there is curse on them that who has performed Haj and not visited me he has committed tyrrany. The Almighty Allah may bestow peace and blessings upon us to enable us to visit the shrine of the beloved (Macca and Madina) and to make the Haj pilgrimage granted.
Translation of Hadith e paak: The Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him)said: Allah Subhanawa Ta’la forgives all the sins of that person who dies either going to or coming from Makkah. He will not have to account for his (or her) deeds and neither will his (or her) deeds be weighed. He (or she) will keep getting the reward of Hajj until the Qiyamah. This person will enter Jannah without any questioning and without any kind of punishment.
Translation of Hadith e paak: If a person stays in the plain of Arafaaton the day of Arafah, even for a short period of time, and thinks that Allah Subhanawa Ta’la has not forgiven that person, then this is that person’s greatest sin.
Translation of Hadith e paak: The Sahabah (the companions) asked the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), what are the good deeds of the journey of Hajj? The Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him)said: Feeding others and talking gently. Translation of Hadith e paak: Whoever performs Hajj for the sake of Allah Subhanawa Ta’la and did not talk to women about desires of the flesh and did not quarrel and/or abuse the fellow passengers, and then while returning, that person will be so pure as if his mother has given birth to him on that very day.
Translation of Hadith e paak: Offering 1 Raka’at in the Haram is like offering 100,000 Raka’at anywhere outside it and offering 1 Raka’at in my Masjid (Masjid Nabawi) is like offering 50,000 Raka’at anywhere outside it and offering 1 Raka’at in Bait Ul Muqaddis is like offering 25,000 Raka’at anywhere outside it. Every good deed will be rewarded in this proportion only.
Being a muslim it is must to spread saying (Ahadith) of Prophet (PBUH) to each and every one for which one will be rewarded both in this world and life hereafter.
